One of the things I love about this section of Miami Beach, is this whole South American/Cuban thing going on. Peruvian and Brazilian restaurants, small bodegas filled with all sorts of interesting knick-knackery, Cuban bistros. Sidewalk cafes. It’s much simpler, here. There isn’t the lushness of South Beach, but it has that same sort of community feeling.
Not to say that isn’t present in South Beach. I’ve never had a better group of friends in one place, people who I hang out with daily. Friends across the beach who I might run into randomly.
But North Beach just has such a cozy feel about it. Love driving AND walking around through this area.
