Sometimes, entirely by accident, I forget about a photo that made me happy. A photo I wanted to share. This is one of them. The day I met Ana, we sat in the rain outside of Starbucks on Lincoln Road for about three hours. As we sat there, Ana and I talked and I snapped photos as people walked by us. After a while, Sol (spelling?) came up and introduced himself. He saw me taking photos and wanted to express his enthusiasm over it. He loved photography. He worked as a chef, I believe, somewhere and he was the absolute friendliest person.
This is one of my favorite street portraits. It entirely captures his mood when we met. Sol, if you see this, I’m sorry I took so long to get this up.
